The U Prairie Challenge is a celebration of varsity sport in Saskatchewan! This annual points-based competition between the University of Regina and the University of Saskatchewan involves 11 different men’s and women’s events, including soccer, football, hockey, volleyball, basketball, track and field, and cross country. Starts Sep 6 with Men’s Football at Mosaic Stadium.
Men’s and Women’s Hockey; Women’s Soccer & Volleyball, Men’s Football all through October. January 2025 Men’s & Women’s Hockey CW Cross Country Championships Oct. 26 U of Alberta. The U Prairie Challenge concludes February 7th and 8th when the Huskies host the Cougars in men’s and women’s basketball. Ticket information below: Individual ticket prices vary from $12.50 - $20 at the University of Regina; $8 - $32 at the University of Saskatchewan, depending on sport and venue.
