Record-Breaking Generosity:
Regina Fills City Bus with Food for Those in Need

The spirit of generosity was on full display as this year’s Jack 94.5 Stuff the Bus collected a  9,977 pounds of food and raised $108,636 in support of the Regina & District Food Bank.

Thanks to the overwhelming kindness of the Regina community, these donations will provide an estimated 335,885 meals to local families — ensuring more people have access to the nutritious food they need.

Mary Weimer, CEO of Regina & District Food Bank, shared:

“Stuff the bus helps us kick off the holiday season. Behind every item of food is care, which is the most powerful form of nourishment. We thank our friends at Rawlco and Sherwood Co-op who share our commitment to fight hunger and feed hope, and thank Mosaic for matching all cash donations this month. Together, let’s stuff the bus!”

Sheri & Woody, Jack 94.5 Morning Show hosts, added:

“Every year we see how important it is for families to put food on their tables. The impact of Stuff the Bus goes beyond the numbers. It represents the spirit of Regina—of neighbours feeding neighbours. Regina came through in a big way.”

The success of Stuff the Bus would not be possible without the incredible generosity of individuals, businesses, and community partners who stepped up to make a difference

On-line donations will continue to be accepted until October 18.
